WHY PPT TO VIDEO FEELS HARD

The deck is done. Why is video still hard?

A finished presentation still leaves teams with recording, pacing, motion, and format work.

Time-consuming

Manual video creation takes hours or even days.

Design challenges

It is hard to create engaging motion with strong visuals.

High costs

Designers and professional editing tools are expensive.

Low engagement

Static slides struggle to hold an audience's attention.

FROM STATIC SLIDES TO MOTION

More than a slideshow export

A useful PPT to Video converter should understand the presentation as source material, not simply hold each slide on screen for a fixed number of seconds.

Deck-aware sequencing

The model reads the uploaded PowerPoint file and uses the slide order, text, visuals, and overall intent to plan a connected video sequence.

Native audio generation

Keep sound enabled to request narration, background music, and effects in the same generation, or switch it off when you plan to finish audio elsewhere.

Format controls

Choose landscape, square, or portrait output for websites, meetings, social channels, and digital displays. Resolution ranges from 480P to 1080P.

Tracked async result

Video rendering normally takes several minutes. The Sender polls one accepted job instead of submitting duplicates and reports provider failure clearly.

HOW PPT TO VIDEO WORKS

One deck. Three clear stages.

This is an asynchronous generation workflow, so the page preserves the task while the video is rendered and checks the result without creating duplicate jobs.

  1. 01

    Upload the deck

Choose a PPT or PPTX presentation. TomeApp validates the format, stores the source at a provider-readable object URL, and sends it to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio Wan 3.0 for analysis. The Sender requests source deletion after a terminal task result.

  2. 02

    Direct the edit

Set the video length, resolution, aspect ratio, and sound. Add a short creative direction when the video needs a specific audience, pace, voice, visual treatment, or call to action.

  3. 03

    Review the MP4

The PPT to Video Sender tracks the provider task until the MP4 is ready, then saves the result to configured storage when possible so you can preview and download it.

HONEST OPERATING NOTES

Know where the file goes

PPT to Video is a cloud workflow powered by Alibaba Cloud Model Studio Wan 3.0. The notes below describe processing, cleanup, task timing, result links, and the review you should complete before sharing the MP4.

Wan 3.0 limits · verified Aug 27, 2026

Cloud processing and cleanup

The presentation is saved to TomeApp's configured object storage so Wan 3.0 can retrieve it. When the Sender receives a success or failure result, it requests deletion of that source object. Abandoned jobs still rely on the storage operator's lifecycle policy. The generated MP4 is copied to configured storage when possible.

Provider timing

Alibaba Cloud documents generation as an asynchronous process that typically takes 1–5 minutes. Queues, deck complexity, duration, and resolution can change the actual wait.

24-hour provider fallback

If permanent result storage fails, the original provider video URL may remain available for only 24 hours. The Sender marks that condition and asks you to download promptly.

Human review remains essential

Check names, numbers, quotations, visuals, narration, and music rights before publishing. Do not upload confidential or regulated material unless your organization's data policy permits the configured providers.

PPT TO VIDEO FAQ

Before you send the deck

How do I convert PPT to video?

Upload a PPT or PPTX file in the PPT to Video Sender, choose the duration, resolution, aspect ratio, and sound setting, then select Generate MP4 video. The page creates one asynchronous task, checks it every 15 seconds, and shows the finished video when rendering succeeds.

Does PPT to Video simply record each slide?

No. The configured AI model reads the PowerPoint file as reference material and generates a new video sequence. That gives the result more motion than a timed slideshow, but it also means you should check whether every source fact and visual was represented correctly.

Which PowerPoint formats are supported?

The Sender accepts legacy PPT and modern PPTX files up to 50MB. PPTX files are validated before submission and can contain up to 50 slides, which matches the current provider limit for presentation inputs.

Can the generated video include narration and music?

Yes. Sound is enabled by default and can include narration, music, and sound effects. Turn Generate sound off when you need a silent MP4 or plan to add licensed audio in a separate editor.

How long does PPT to Video generation take?

Alibaba Cloud documents Wan video generation as a 1–5 minute asynchronous process. Actual timing varies with queue load, presentation complexity, video duration, and resolution. The Sender keeps checking the accepted task instead of starting a duplicate.

What happens to my uploaded PowerPoint?

The source is uploaded to TomeApp's configured object storage because Wan 3.0 needs a retrievable HTTPS file URL. The Sender requests deletion after it receives a terminal success or failure result; abandoned jobs still depend on the storage operator's lifecycle policy. Provider retention follows the production Alibaba Cloud configuration, so avoid confidential material unless your organization's policy approves these services.

How many credits does PPT to Video use?

Each PPT to Video generation costs 500 credits, regardless of the selected duration or resolution. The Sender shows this fixed price before submission. If the provider task fails, the credit refund is claimed atomically so overlapping status checks cannot refund the same job twice.

What should I review before publishing the MP4?

Watch the complete result with sound. Verify names, dates, figures, quotations, captions, crops, pacing, voice pronunciation, brand assets, and any music or image rights. AI generation accelerates the edit but does not replace final editorial approval.

Your deck already has a story. Put it in motion.

Use the PPT to Video Sender to transform an approved PowerPoint into a short MP4, then review the final cut before it leaves your team.
